The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.

SASSA might be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it truly is alarmed in regards to the higher range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office committed to service the area on a sassa status check regular basis. The support level produced for intervention experiences a superior influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more means to empower the servicing of all consumers and increase use of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
